Diggory's Fundraiser for Suicide Prevention

My Story
Hi All,
It is with great pleasure to announce I'll be running the Brighton Marathon 2024 in aid of the Molly Rose Foundation, a suicide prevention charity, targeted towards young people aged 25 and under (representing approximately 10% of the total suicide deaths in the UK annually).
When I was given the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for the Molly Rose Foundation, I jumped at it. Seeing the work and success of Molly's family, friends and others - in their determined mission to help raise awareness and provide support for young individuals - helping to prevent other families experiencing the same devastation is inspirational beyond running any distance.
Suicide amongst adolescents and young adults is too common in this day and age to not do something about it. 1 in 15 people in the UK have attempted suicide at some point in their life and 72% of people who have sadly died by suicide had not been in contact with their GP in the year before their suicide. MRF's aim is to reduce these threefold.
On Sunday 7th April 2024, I will be donning the purple vest in Brighton to contribute to a worthy cause and raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Please join me in supporting the Molly Rose Foundation, whether it be sharing this page or making a donation, however big or small.
Thank you,
Diggory Slee
