My Story

This weekend I spent lots of time with my 6 nephews and nieces and have been reading lots about Molly Russell's story, and it is so heartbreaking to think about the kind of world they are entering. Working in healthcare, mental health is a huge priority but an even bigger problem to solve in that it's so unpredictable. A 'happy' child doesn't mean a happy teenager or adult, but mental health interventions and education when you're young can have a world of difference in arming you with the right tools/foundations to navigate growing up. I feel grateful to have grown up without a smartphone or social media but be young enough to harness its benefits, and am hoping charities like Molly Russell's can help others do the same. I also work in tech, and I know how powerful or harmful it can be, depending on your headspace.

I'm running the Libson Marathon on Sunday (9th October) and even if I can raise £500-1000, I'm sure it'd mean so much to Molly's family so please do donate if you have even a fiver spare.
